What this document is
MI-T (“Movilidad internacional (Ley 14/2013) — Titular — Solicitud de autorización de residencia”) is the official Spanish form for the main applicant for residence under Law 14/2013 on support for entrepreneurs and their internationalisation. It is processed by the Unidad de Grandes Empresas y Colectivos Estratégicos (UGE-CE) of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration (DIR3 code E04940103). The form is in Spanish and has two pages: the application and instructions.
FoxDocs only types your values into the fields of the official PDF and does not change its layout.
Who files it and where
- investor (INVERSOR): the box is still on the form, but from 3 April 2025 Ley Orgánica 1/2025 removed investor visas and permits from Law 14/2013 entirely, not only for real estate; new applications on this ground are no longer possible, while permits already issued stay valid until expiry and are renewed under the previous rules;
- entrepreneurs (EMPRENDEDOR) and highly qualified professionals (PROFESIONAL ALTAMENTE CUALIFICADO), including with an EU Blue Card;
- researchers (EU or national regime: Science Law, R&D&I, agreements, teaching staff) and intra-company transferees (ICT-UE or national);
- international teleworkers (TELETRABAJADOR DE CARÁCTER INTERNACIONAL), the so-called digital nomads;
- it is filed electronically only, through the Ministry’s sede electrónica (Ley 39/2015); the fee is paid with modelo 790 código 038, section “Punto 7” (Ley 14/2013), and its NRC is entered on the form; check the amount on the official website.
What the form asks for
- the ground: INVERSOR, EMPRENDEDOR, PAC, PAC with EU Blue Card, INVESTIGADOR UE or NACIONAL, TRASLADO INTRAEMPRESARIAL (ICT-UE or national), TELETRABAJADOR;
- type of authorisation: INICIAL (holder of an investor or teleworker visa, residing outside Spain, holder of a stay or residence in Spain), RENOVADA, or PRORROGADA for job search (researchers);
- the foreign national: passport, NIE, surnames, name, place of birth, sex (H/M), civil status (S/C/V/D/Sp/Uh), date of birth (dd/mm/aaaa), country, nationality, parents’ names, address in Spain, country of residence outside Spain, phone and e-mail;
- company or entity in Spain — only for PAC, researchers and intra-company transfers: name, NIF, activity, occupation, address, contacts, legal representative with DNI/NIE/PAS and position, and for transfers the sending company;
- the person expressly authorised to file (needs a digital certificate) and the NRC of the fee payment;
- place, date and signature: initial PAC and researcher applications are signed by the employer, transfers by the receiving company, other cases by the foreign national.

How to fill it in with FoxDocs
- Tell the chat in any language your ground, whether it is an initial application or a renewal, and whether there is a company in Spain.
- The assistant fills the boxes in capital letters, splits dates into dd/mm/aaaa and the NIE into letter, number and control letter, and ticks the right boxes.
- Download the PDF, check it, sign it and attach it to the electronic application on the sede electrónica.
