What this document is

“Solicitud del bono social” is the form of Comercializadora Regulada, Gas & Power, S.A. (the Naturgy group’s regulated supplier) for the social discount on the electricity bill. The discount is set by the State (Real Decreto 897/2017), and the application goes to the comercializadora de referencia you have a PVPC contract with.

According to the company as of 2026-10-09, until 31/12/2026 the discount is 42.5% for “vulnerable” and 57.5% for “severely vulnerable” customers. Each comercializadora de referencia has its own form: this one is only for Comercializadora Regulada customers.

Who applies and where

  • the electricity contract holder — a private individual; the home is their habitual residence; a PVPC contract with Comercializadora Regulada (or agreement to sign one);
  • one of the grounds: household income up to 1.5 × IPREM (14 payments), plus 0.3 per additional adult and 0.5 per child; large-family certificate; minimum pension for everyone with income; or the Ingreso Mínimo Vital;
  • submit by e-mail to bonosocial@comercializadoraregulada.es, by post (Comercializadora Regulada, Bono Social, Apdo. nº 61084, 28080 Madrid), at a Naturgy shop by appointment or via the Área Clientes on the company website;
  • the holder and all household members over 14 sign the form.

What the form asks

Seven pages: holder’s details, home address and CUPS code, postal address (if different), phones and e-mail; household table — name, surnames, NIF/NIE, date of birth and relationship; grounds (large family, pensioners, IMV, income) and special circumstances; three consents to data checks; signature table; place and date.

What to bring

  • copies of the NIF/NIE of the holder and household members over 14;
  • the libro de familia or a Civil Registry extract (the company accepts a declaración responsable on its template instead);
  • a current padrón certificate (certificado de empadronamiento) for everyone;
  • the large-family certificate, IMV proof or special-circumstances certificate — if you tick that ground;
  • a copy of an electricity bill showing the CUPS — if you do not write it in.

How to fill it in with FoxDocs

  1. Tell the chat who lives with you and which ground for the discount applies.
  2. Check the data: the holder’s name and NIF are repeated on pages 1, 2 and 5 automatically.
  3. Download the PDF, sign it with household members over 14 and send it to Comercializadora Regulada with the documents.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this form if my supplier is not Comercializadora Regulada?

No. The bono social is granted only by the comercializadora de referencia you have a PVPC contract with, and each has its own form. This one is only for Comercializadora Regulada (Naturgy) customers. An ordinary Naturgy market contract does not qualify: you need PVPC.

Do I have to be the contract holder?

Yes. The application is made by the holder of the electricity contract for their habitual home. If the contract is in someone else’s name, the holder must be changed first.

Can a foreign resident get the discount?

The form requires a NIF or NIE for the holder and household members over 14. Nationality is not listed as a condition on the form, but the home must be your habitual residence and the contract in your name.

Who goes in the household table?

People living with you at the same address: spouse or registered partner (pareja de hecho), relatives up to the second degree — children, parents, parents-in-law, children-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, siblings-in-law (cuñados) — and foster children. The table has eight places.

Are the consents mandatory?

The first consent (data processing and income check) is needed by everyone. The pension and IMV consents are ticked if you choose that ground. Without consent the company cannot check the requirements.

Where do I find the CUPS code?

On your electricity bill; the distribution company can also provide it. “ES” is already printed on the form — write the rest. You may leave the CUPS blank and attach a copy of a bill instead.

When does the discount start?

Per the form, from the billing cycle in which the complete application is received, on the next bill issued at least 15 working days later. According to the company, forms sent by post or e-mail are reviewed in about 10 days and the reply comes by letter.

How long does the discount last?

Per the form, two years (for large families, while the large-family certificate is valid). According to the company, renewal is now automatic every two years while the conditions are met; changes in the household must be reported.
