What this document is
TA.7 ("Solicitud de alta, baja y variación de datos de cuenta de cotización") is an official form of Spain’s General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS). The contribution account code (Código de Cuenta de Cotización, CCC) is the number under which an employer pays contributions for its staff.
According to its instructions, TA.7 is used to open the second and further CCCs of the same employer, to change the address, activity, work-accident insurer or name, and to close (baja) any of its accounts. The very first CCC is opened when the employer registers, with form TA.6.
Who files it and where
- the employer files it — a sole trader (empresario individual) or a company — or its representative;
- the employer already has a main CCC: its number is a required box on the form;
- the form is filed with a TGSS Provincial Directorate or Office;
- according to the notice on the form itself, newly created companies (Orden ESS/485/2013) must report this electronically through the Social Security e-Office (Sede Electrónica).
What the form asks
- employer: name or company name, main CCC, type and number of document (DNI, NIE, CIF), NSS for a sole trader;
- what is filed — alta, baja or change of data, the reason, the date and the CCC concerned;
- Social Security scheme and, if any, the special system or sea-scheme group;
- home address or registered office, and the place where the activity takes place;
- activity, IAE, collective agreement, who covers work accidents and temporary incapacity;
- optionally — the IBAN for direct debit of contributions and the account holder’s document.
What to bring
- identity document of the business owner or sole trader, and of the person filing the application;
- proof of representation if a representative files it;
- for a new CCC for a different activity — a Ministry of Finance document showing the activity;
- for a change of data — a document supporting the change.
This list comes from the "Documentación que debe aportar" section of the form itself. If the application is incomplete, TGSS gives 10 days to fix it. The decision takes up to 45 days; with no answer in that time, the application may be considered approved.
How to fill it in with FoxDocs
- Tell the chat in any language what you need: open a new account, close or change an existing one, and from which date.
- The assistant fills in the boxes in capital letters, splits the date and address into cells, the IBAN into its grouped boxes, ticks the checkboxes and repeats your data on the receipt.
- Download the PDF, check it, print it, sign it and file it with TGSS.
