What this document is
The “Hoja padronal” is the official form of the Statistics Service of Seville City Council (Ayuntamiento de Sevilla) used to register in the municipal register of residents (empadronamiento), to change address within the city or to correct your details. It is in Spanish, two landscape pages: the first is filled in, the second has the legal notes, the document list, instructions and education codes.
One sheet holds up to four people registering at the same address. FoxDocs types your data into the fields of the official PDF and does not change its layout.
Who files it and where
- anyone living in Seville, foreigners included: when moving from another municipality or from abroad, changing address within the city, at a birth, if never registered before (omisión), or to correct data;
- the sheet is handed in at the city council by appointment (cita previa): phone 010 or the sevilla.org website — as stated on the form itself;
- non-EU foreigners without permanent residence must renew the registration every two years (art. 16 of Ley 7/1985), otherwise it lapses;
- every adult (and emancipated minor) listed on the sheet signs it by hand.
What the form asks
- home address in Seville: street type and name, number, letter, km, block, entrance, staircase, floor, door, postcode; contact phone;
- for each of up to four people: first name, first and second surname, sex (H/M), date of birth, nationality, town and province (for foreigners — country) of birth, education code;
- identity document: DNI/NIE or passport and its number;
- reason: moving from another municipality or country (with province or country and town of origin), change of address within Seville, birth, omisión, data correction;
- the “NO” box if you do not allow the other adults on the sheet to obtain your registration certificates;
- the “Autorización de empadronamiento” block — consent of an adult already registered at the home who holds a document for it.
What to bring
- the completed sheet signed by all adults;
- original and copy of a valid identity document for each person: DNI for Spanish citizens; for EU citizens — the registration certificate with the NIE plus passport or ID card; for other foreigners — the TIE card with the NIE or a passport;
- for children — the libro de familia or birth certificate;
- housing document: proof of ownership (deed, land registry note or a recent water, electricity, gas or IBI bill) or a current rental contract with the latest rent receipt;
- if someone is already registered at the home — their consent on the sheet, a housing document in their name and a copy of their ID;
- check the current list on sevilla.org before your visit.
How to fill it in with FoxDocs
- Tell the chat in any language who is registering, at which address and why (move, change of address, birth).
- The assistant fills the boxes in capitals, enters dates, documents and codes, ticks the reason and, if needed, the consent block.
- Download the PDF, check it, print it, have all adults sign it and take it to your appointment.
