What this document is
ภ.พ.30 (“แบบแสดงรายการภาษีมูลค่าเพิ่ม ตามประมวลรัษฎากร”) is the monthly Value Added Tax return of Thailand’s Revenue Department (กรมสรรพากร).
A new edition has been in use since 1 March 2569 (2026): a more detailed address (a “แยก” field), separate amounts for under- and over-reporting in an additional return, and refunds paid via PromptPay.
Who files it and where
- every VAT-registered operator — company, sole trader, partnership — for every tax month, even with no sales that month;
- deadline under the form’s instructions: by the 15th of the following month;
- where: the Area Revenue Branch Office (สำนักงานสรรพากรพื้นที่สาขา) where the establishment is; operators also liable to excise tax file at the Excise office;
- operators with several establishments file for each one; one return for all only with the Department’s approval and the ใบแนบ ภ.พ.30 sheet.
What the form asks
- tax ID, operator and establishment name, address, phone, branch;
- month and year (B.E.), ordinary or additional filing;
- lines 1–4 — sales of the month, of which zero-rated and exempt, taxable sales; line 5 — output tax;
- lines 6–7 — purchases eligible for credit and input tax;
- lines 8–12 — tax payable or excess for the month, excess brought forward, net result;
- lines 13–16 — surcharge (1.5% a month) and penalty for late or additional filing, totals with them.
Documents usually brought along
- the month’s sales tax report (รายงานภาษีขาย) and purchase tax report (รายงานภาษีซื้อ);
- the ภ.พ.20 VAT registration certificate (number, branch, address);
- the previous return if you carry an excess forward;
- check the exact list with the Revenue Department office.
How to fill it in with FoxDocs
- Tell the chat about the business, the month, sales and purchases, the VAT from your reports and any excess from previous months.
- FoxDocs ticks the boxes, puts the ID and amounts into the cells, computes taxable sales, tax payable or excess and the total with surcharge, and warns if VAT differs noticeably from 7%.
- Check the form, download the PDF, sign and stamp it.
