What this document is

«Solicitud de informe de empadronamiento individual» is the official form of the Ayuntamiento de Marbella (Población y Estadística, DIR3 code LA0013633). The city issues a registration report for one person with it.

The form offers two options: a standard report (informe individual) — where you are registered now — and a historical one (informe individual histórico) — with all your registered addresses in Marbella. The form is in Spanish, two A4 pages.

Who files it and where

  • a person registered in Marbella, or their representative; for a report about someone else — with that person's authorisation and a copy of their ID (section 4 of the form);
  • the form is printed, signed and filed with the city council; the form names the Oficina de Atención al Ciudadano — Plaza de los Naranjos, 1; check on the council’s website whether it can also be filed through the electronic sede;
  • fees, processing times and whether an appointment is needed are not stated on the form — check with the city or on its website;
  • notifications arrive electronically or on paper — paper only for private individuals not required to use electronic notification (art. 14 Ley 39/2015).

What the form asks

  • applicant: full name, DNI, NIE or passport, phone, e-mail;
  • address for notifications: street, town, province, postcode;
  • representative and the person handing in the form (presentador), if not the applicant;
  • notification method, statement (expone) and type of report — standard or historical;
  • objection to the city obtaining documents (art. 28 Ley 39/2015) and the date.

What to bring

  • the completed and signed form;
  • the applicant's ID (DNI, TIE or NIE certificate, passport);
  • a report on a child under 14 — authorisation from the adults on the child's hoja padronal (as the form says);
  • a report on another person — a copy of their DNI, passport or NIE and their authorisation (as the form says);
  • check the exact list of documents with the city.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the standard and the historical report?

The standard report shows where you are registered now. The historical one lists all your registered addresses in Marbella with dates; it is asked for when you need to prove how long you have lived there.

Can I get a report about someone else?

According to the form, yes, with a copy of their DNI, passport or NIE and their authorisation. For a child under 14 — with authorisation from the adults on the child's hoja padronal.

Who is the presentador?

The person who physically hands the form in at the registry. If you file yourself or through a representative, these boxes can stay empty.

How will the city reply?

The form asks you to choose one: electronically or on paper by post. Paper is only for private individuals.

What does «no me opongo» mean?

You do not object to the city obtaining the necessary documents from other administrations itself. If you tick «me opongo», you will have to bring them yourself.

How much does the report cost and when is it issued?

The form does not say. Check the fee and timing with Marbella City Council or on its website.

Why is the date on both pages?

The form has two «Marbella, a … de … de 20…» lines, on page one and page two. FoxDocs puts the same date in both; you sign by hand.
