What this document is
Mod.25 “Registro de Apoderamientos — Anulación de una representación” is the official form of Spain’s Directorate-General for Traffic (DGT). With it, the represented person (representado) cancels a representation previously given to someone else (representante) for procedures at Tráfico — for example with form Mod.24.
One form covers up to four procedures from the “Relación de trámites” list (pages 2–3). According to DGT, cancelling a representation is free of charge.
Who files it and where
- in person the form is accepted at any Jefatura or Oficina de Tráfico by appointment (cita previa) — and only when both parties are natural persons;
- if the represented person attends, they show their ID and the form signed by them alone;
- if the representative attends, they bring the form signed by both parties and the original IDs of both;
- without the form: in the Registro de Apoderamientos app on sede.dgt.gob.es, section “Consulta representaciones”; companies — online only.
What the form asks
- representative: full name, NIF/NIE;
- represented person: full name, NIF/NIE;
- up to four procedures: code, name, start and end dates, details (atributos);
- place and date; the representative, the represented person and the DGT officer sign by hand.
What to bring
- the Mod.25 form, signed (by both parties if the representative files it);
- ID of the represented person (DNI or NIE);
- ID of the representative (DNI or NIE), if they attend;
- your appointment confirmation (cita previa).
