What this document is

Declaração de recebimento de pensão ou aposentadoria em outro regime de previdência accompanies an INSS benefit application. The applicant states whether they receive a pension from another scheme and, if so, its type, government level, start date, paying body and latest amount.

The form prints EC 103/2019, art. 24: a survivor’s pension may be combined with another benefit in the listed cases, with the less favourable one reduced. False statements lead to repayment and liability under arts. 171 and 299 of the Penal Code — also printed on the form.

Who files it and where

  • the INSS benefit applicant (signed by them or their legal representative);
  • attached to the application in Meu INSS or handed in at an INSS office — check the procedure for your benefit on the INSS site or by phone on 135;
  • the current model is Anexo XXIV of Instrução Normativa PRES/INSS nº 128/2022 (two pages); do not use the older form headed Portaria 450/2020 — that ordinance was revoked.

What the form asks for

  • applicant’s name, CPF and RG number;
  • I receive / do not receive a pension from another scheme;
  • if I do: type (pensão or aposentadoria), for pensão whether the deceased was a spouse/partner (SIM/NÃO), level (state, municipal, federal), civil or military service;
  • start date of that pension, paying body, latest gross amount excluding the 13th payment and its month/year;
  • place, date and signature.
